Cider season
Two years after a devastating breakup left her jobless, homeless, and heartbroken, Phoebe Skiles has made a name for herself crafting high-end, European-style cider at Appelle. When Elise, Phoebe's best friend and CEO, hires a consulting firm to keep Appelle from shuttering its doors for good, Phoebe finds herself living her worst-case scenario: putting her professional life in the hands of Miles Newport, a finance bro with a toddler's palate. Miles is convinced the only thing that can save Appelle is ‘pivoting’ to a ‘consumer product’ with ‘mass-market commercial appeal’. There are so many things wrong with that sentence.
Phoebe sets out to save Appelle and discovers that there’s a lot more to Miles than cashmere sweaters and Stylus pens. He's working overtime to bring on a high dollar client to repay his estranged father’s investment and support his best friend's working-class parents. Phoebe and Miles are used to risking everything for their businesses. What are they rilling to risk for love?
